I have to say, I can not agree with you in 100%, but that's just my opinion, which could be very wrong.
p.s. You have a very good template for your blog. Where did you find it?

Agreed on the Brien miss at Heinz Field - Herm put the game in the hands of Doug Brien, our average kicker, instead of the in the hands of the guys we paid to win games - Curtis Martin and Chad Pennington.

The really bad thing is the only reason the Jets were even playing at Heinz that weekend is that Marty Schottenheimer did the exact same thing the weekend before in the wild-card round against us.

That Brien miss has more to do with Herm coaching us backwards away from the uprights. Ugh what a failure.

But, that win over the bucs the next year with my main man Vinny T was the best part of the next season. If only herm could coach better we may have had a few more wins.

Doug Brien left me emotionally damaged after that game, but I have to agree with John l about the mud bowl - that was the worst.

I remember going to school the next day and a kid was wearing his richard todd jersey. Felt like slugging him (but he was much bigger).

I must have improved by the championship game in Denver. I live in Denver now - and did at the time of that game - and my co-workers put bronco paper streamers, orange and blue baloons, etc. pakced into my office before I arrived mon. morning. (don't know why they put my jerry garcia doll in a noose though. totally unrelated and just mean spirited!)

I even got a chuckle out of the gag. I guess I can handle gut wrenching losses better in my adult life. Having watched every game, save for perhaps a handful, in the past 25 years I've seen alot of 'em......

Bassett, from now on I'll try to come up with a KC number to match...today's is: 4.3 INT%..that's KC's career number, for point of reference the old interception machine that everyone hated had a 4.2 INT% last season...if KC starts, better have tackling drills for the WRs!!!

I remember that game very well, it was the 1st day I watched a real football game, like as in I never watched a whole game in my life because I didn't like the sport, but after that I never missed a Jets game with the exception of 2, but I will never forget that missed fieldgoal
