My ideal draft involves trading down with our first pick from #17 to #22 (with Detroit, who has two third round picks this year). We then trade our 4th round pick with their second third… in essence sliding down 5 spots in the first round to move up half a round on day -2.
1: Hakeem Nicks (WR, UNC)
2: Jarron Gilbert (DE, San Jose St.)
3. Shonn Greene (RB, Iowa)
3. Terrance Taylor (DT, Michigan)
6. Louis Vasquez (OG, Texas Tech)
7. Patrick Turner (WR, USC)
I like your draft. Hakeem Nicks and Terrance Taylor would give us the speedy receiver we need to replace Coles and NG to spell Jenkins.
With Jarron Gilbert (and Vernon Gholston) we get a pass rush and Thomas Jones can tutor Shonn Greene in the backfield. Also, I’ll takeLouis Vasquez for offensive line depth (we have none.) and development.
very interesting info! since were looking at video and hearing analysts opinions- take a look at this video- Jarron Gilbert- DE/DT

Too bad Mel didn’t post his top wide receivers. I’m thinking Jets will go that direction on day one.
Round 1:
WR’s: Jeremy Maclin or Hakeem Nicks
RB’s: Knowshon Moreno or Beanie Wells
QB’s: Matthew Stafford or Mark Sanchez
Round 2:
WR: Kenny Britt
SS: Patrick Chung
NG: Ron Brace
Shonne Greene, Shonne Greene, Shonne Greene. He is a bada$$ and just what we need, get him in the 2nd!

Not that I don’t love Hakeem Nicks’s potential (I do), but I prefer Jeremy Maclin and his blazing speed – if he’s still available.
I don’t see Terrance Taylor as a two gapper. If they drafted him, it would probably be to play DE.
