The First 100 Days: Day 61

by Bassett on March 25th, 2009 at 5:00 pm

61

Just like another administration’s first 100 days, so too TJB will be keeping watch over the Rex Ryan administration for the first 100 days … playing it by the numbers if you will. Each day, we’ll try to keep the associated day number in play.

Day Sixty One

The Ghost of Adrien Clarke — I’ve been watching tape from the 2007 season.  Wow Adrien Clarke was bad.  I can’t count how many times defensive ends or tackles would blast right through the gap (where Clarke should have been) between Brick and Mangold … it was brutal.

With the 61st pick — Harold Beatty (OK State Tackle ’61) John Lomakoski (W Mich ’62 Tackle) Mickey Shuler (PSU TE 1978)

1961 — The Titans were 7-7 under coach Sammy Baugh, finishing third in the AFL East.

As Worn By – Dan Ficca, Roger Finnie, John Roman

Add your sixty ones in the comments …

Compare this list of bozos to the heros who wore #60. 61 is not a number I would play in any lottery.

The Kellen Clemens “61″ is his 6.1 career yards per attempt. Last season, ony 2 QBs, Derek Anderson and Ryan Fitzpatrick had worse YPA. In fact, a 6.1 YPA would have been one of the worst for
