Terrence Cody is a monster and unless we screw up this upcoming season it will be hard to draft him. A possible top-5 pick next year

EastSide,

The Jets would have to have a top 5 pick for that to happen.

EMac probably had one of the better, if not best single seasons a safety could have, then fell off the radar. Unreal!

My heart goes out to Robertson. When he was drafted, he was touted as the next 3 technique beast, the next Warren Sapp. Since we obviously passed on Warren many drafts ago and picked Kyle Brady, everyone was psyched to have Robertson and the pressure was on, which he could never live up to. We also passed Ty Law and Derrick Brooks in the same draft. WOW can we pick 'em.

The killer with this pick is that we moved up to get him, Kevin Williams gets picked by the Vikes a few picks later and becomes a Pro Bowler. WOW another big miss. If we stayed put instead of trading up, Troy Polemalu (sp?), Asomugha and Larry Johnson were still on the board.

Despite not liking the statement, Kiper's infamous line is so true about this franchise....they just don't understand the draft. Thankfully, that has changed. Let's hope it stays that way moving forward and continues to be solid.

Eric McMillan and Mo Lewis were great 63rd picks. Eric kind of fizzled after a few years, but made some memorable "BIG" plays for us. I think that's what I remember most about him. What can I say about Mo, he was steady for years when the team around him wasn't.

The most critical factor for the success of a QB is the strength and blocking of the OL. I believe that, with this OL, Clemens will look great, to the surprise of many of you who two years ago thought that he was good enough to replace Chad and now he is not good enough to start over Ratliff? If Ratliff beats Clemens then we will definitely have a QB in place for many years to come.

My Kellen Clemens "63" is his 5-12, 63 yard performance against the Redskins in last year's August 16, 2008 pre-season game. Clemens came in after Favre started. He was victimized by some drops, but with the same personnel, Ratliff was 13-19 for 148 and he had some drops (Raymond dropped a sure TD, which would've won the game). To my eye, Ratliff clearly out-played KC, who scrambled too much, was sacked more and just didn't look any good. Also, KC played with 2nd team WRs, not 3rd team.
