Just like another administration’s first 100 days, so too TJB will be keeping watch over the Rex Ryan administration for the first 100 days … playing it by the numbers if you will. Each day, we’ll try to keep the associated day number in play.

Day Sixty Five

Brandon Moore — It was a close call there for a minute! The Jets were unwilling to pay Brandon Moore’s

Class of ’65 — Namath was the first overall pick, the Jets also drafted Verlon Biggs this year.

1965 — The Titans were 5-8-1 under coach Weeb Ewbank, finishing second in the AFL East.

ROY 1965 — Joe Namath won the Rookie of the year.

As Worn By — Joe Fields, John Hudson

I think 65 is the number of years between JETS Super Bowl appearances. So we have 25 more years of poor play and excuses to go. By then the PSL fees will be worthless..

I hope the Jets can win the Superbowl again before I’m 65 and retired….

In 1965 Don Maynard finished the season with:

    68 – catches
    1218 – yards
    17.9 – y/c
    14 TD’s

…We need a #1 Receiver who can put up those numbers.

65 receptions from Stuckey or Clowney next year.
    Hopefully 100 by Cotchery
    40-60 by the draft pick
    75 for Keller
    25 to Leon

$65 The cost of 6 beers and a Hotdog at the game!

  8. avatar The Ed(itor) says:

Actually $65 will be the cost of parking at he new stadium in 2010. $20 parking fee and $45 in carbon tax fees courtesy of the JETS and the Democrats.

Six hot dogs and 3 beers will be over $100.

    Right on Ed,

I feel like a sucker whenever I go to any pro sporting event.

My KC 65 is his 65.5 completion percentage from probably his most thrilling college game: Oregon’s 41-38 defeat of Washington State in his junior year on 10/9/04. Losing 27-14 in the 4th Quarter, KC tosses 3 TD passes and runs in the 4th for the win with 1:21 left in the game (it was also his 3rd rushing TD…6 TDs in all). His line was an impressive 36-55 for 437 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT and those 3 rushing TDs. Too bad that Oregon dropped it’s last 3 games of the season, including a blowout loss to arch-rival Oregon State of 50-21…KC played terribly, with a 44.8 completion pct, 3 TDs and 3 INTs.
