Steve K - Just get there early and wait in line. No tickets required. More details will be posted in the days before the draft. You can just walk in on day two.

Peria Jerry? Are you serious? The guy is a three technique DT. Many tampa 2 teams will be jumping al over him since the talent for this type of DT falls of rapidly. Tyson Jackson? He'll be this years Kentwan Balmer, when Kendall Langford was obviously the better 3-4 DE...Parcells knew that....saved a lot of money. Ziggy Hood will make a better 3-4 end. He's much more versatlie than Jackson....already experienced playing inside....can be used in multiple fronts.

Alex,

I agree, if not O then DL would be a position of need, and then Tyson Jsckson would be a solid pick up. I'm really hoping we take Josh Freeman with #17. I think he can be another John Elway.

Ramble914

I agree there is now way we pick a CB or LB at 17. However, I think there is a shot that we could go with the DL on that first pick. If Tyson Jackson is available there is a really good chance we will pick him up. You can't deny that, given his ability and size and our defense. I would think that Peria Jerry would also be a possibility. If neither of these players are there, then your right, its a no brainer, we are going offense. Most likely wide receiver, possibility of quaterback, or maybe a running back (although I would prefer not to take a running bac in the first).

I will guarantee you that we will not take a CB or LB with the first pick. None are worthy of #17, and we've devoted too much in those positions already. We're gonna go O with that first pick.

It's just typical pre-draft routine. Getting their draft board ready. I don't like Davis, the unknown mights stay unknowns. Darius Butler may be the only beneficial prospect but I don't think we would take in the first or second (implies no chance). There are other priorities...just routine.

This is all about smoke and mirrors. Jets have to make it seem they're looking at everyone, so teams that really want a guy like Davis (if he drops) will be tempted to trade up with the Jets in order to get him. They have to make it seem as though they're going with the best-player-available route so teams will be scared into trading with them.

Z we no longer have law but we do have donald strickland.

I think this is just more about doing the right thing and looking into every top prospect. That way if our number gets called and we are in the position to do so, we pick the BPA.

In my perspective these are not the guys I want to receive extra attention. Focus on Maclin, Tyson Jackson and Sanchez. If none of those guys are there trade down. DHB is too raw and I don't trust him based on what Gholston did this year. Remember when Gholston was also considered raw coming out? Trade back to around 20-24 and hopefully assure yourself Nicks or Chris Wells or Moreno (One will be there, not the other)
