    Old issues, Miles Austin:
    1.What is the real Jet interest, will they make an offer, don’t they have to do this soon, April 17th deadline (7 days for Dallas to respond) ?
    2. What is Dallas ‘s interest in keeping their 3rd WR ?
    Can the Jets/Cowboys strike a deal ?
    3. What is the value of the 52′d pick ?
    4.If the Jets sign Austin, is Brad Smith on his way to Cleveland. ?
    5.Is Miles Austin a Henry Ellard type of receiver ?
    6.The triangle numbers of Austin 6’3 213 with a 4.49 forty, isn’t that a perfect compliment to Cotchery ?
    7. Did Terry Bradway ( who did the McCareins deal) have any influence on this deal ?
    8. Since Dallas has 11 overall picks but do not have a first round pick, (Lost in the Williams trade) be intersted in getting back into the first round at 17 ?

    They haven’t yet. Wait til the last minute and screw up their draft? (but another team could jump in). Deadlines are as you said.

    I think they are hoping he can start. I don’t know why the Cowboys would deal for anything less than a 2.

    I don’t know about this.

    That would be good.

    Yes…if he stays healthy.

    Maybe.

    In the chat, Marc made the point that the Cowboys are close enough to the cap that the Jets might be able to make an offer they won’t be able to match by including a poison pill. Interesting.
