SackExchange99 – read that article on Harvin – you still want to draft this kid? He’s got Pac-Man Burress written all over him.
Clayton’s article is interesting too. Clemens won one game in which he threw 30 or more passes. Roethlisberger won only two games in his first three seasons when asked to throw 30 or more passes. Also, Peyton Manning’s first year, Manning was 1-11 in 1998 in 30-pass games during his rookie season, 2-8 in close games.
Let’s give Clemens a chance people – If we run the ball and play good defense, he’ll throw 20 – 25 passes a game, we’ll be in good shape.
read the last article.. lets draft that kid in the later rounds cause if lito breaks down we’re screwed.. lowery would have to step in as starter and hopefully he’ll be more prepared than he was last year but we could use another body, and a fast one at that (LOOK AT HIS 40 TIMES).
DK – was that comment aimed at sackexchange or Sackdance99?
We have to adreesed the offense in the first 3 rds we can’t put every nickel and dime on 1 side of the ball, we need a WR RB TE and if we accomplished that Brett Ratliff will be ok leading this team going forward this kid have the potential to be the next cinderella story
By the way we have 7 new additions on defense and 0 on offense I’m pretty sure Mr T aknowledge this situation and will have a offensive heavy draft in a couple of weeks…………….boy I wish we can sign Torry Holt though we have his mentor and Wr coach on this team its just make too much sense in my opinion
Agree about Holt
Signing Holt would seem to make sense, especially since we wouldn’t have to give up 2nd rnd pick. It’s more of a short term solution, but gives us alot more leeway.
Don’t know how his contract would compare with a guy like Austin though.
