Anthony De Rosa of GFB and I are hanging out in the Bowels of SNY studios, so tell your Giants friends about GFB’s coverage today, much the same as ours.
Although there was recent talk of Michael Crabtree slipping some, there’s just no way he makes it out of the top ten, according to Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reporter Bob McGinn.
Crabtree is the top-rated player on general manager Ted Thompson’s board and, despite significant needs on both lines and at outside linebacker, it seems likely the Packers will stay true to their board provided Crabtree is available.
However, Crabtree could be taken as early as No. 4 by Seattle and perhaps at No. 7 by Oakland, which almost certainly will select a wide receiver.

I think he is the one this year– If they have the option and DON’T get Sanchez, you are happy because it means confidence in their QB’s, and he looks like a spitting image of Fitzgerald to me. I hate taking WR’s, especially when there are depth issues on the OL and DL, and football is won upfront, but I dont know— I think he is the one.

RUMOR ALERT
Here is another rumor that is emerging from the chatter.
Let me know if anyone has any info that can support or refute the rumor.RUMOR:
NY Jets are 1 of several teams trying to trade-up to draft QB Josh Freeman. Teams are aware that several teams are interested in Freeman and that passively waiting for him to fall is not a good option (the “mediocre” talents available beyond the 7th/8th pick make trading up to get your targeted player much more attractive).
Teams interested in drafting Feeman reportedly include:
San Francisco, Denver (maybe?), NY Jets, Tampa, Minnesota, New England (yes, New England!!!), and Arizona.END OF RUMOR
Let me know what you hear.

ya maybe in the 2nd round but he will be there when san fran pks & i think hell be there for denver also The only team that might have to move up is tampa because they think the jets want him

Go up and get this kid..he is for real. If our QB’s do not work out, we can grab one next year….better class coming out. There will be at least 4-5 QB’s than.
