I wonder why we gave Cleveland Ratty. Was that their choice, or were the Jets eager to keep KC?

Mixed on the draft....Was hoping they would keep all their picks or move back and get an additional pick or two. Was hoping we'd shy away from QB and look at DE and WR early.

I agree the cost to move up and grab Sanchez was not steep. I wanted to see them get an upgrade for Coleman anyways and I was not excited when they resigned Elam so fine with shipping those players t Cleveland.

Was hoping Ratliff was going to be our future but I trust Tanny, Rex and the rest of the staff to properly evaluate KC and Ratlff vs the QB draft prospects and make the right move.

I am good with the move to get Shonn Green. Clear dropoff between Green and the next best available RB and TJ is likely in his last yr.

Sanchez just has to be the answer - we've gonna have a ton of money tied up in him and Gholston...

My attitude to this draft is the same as pretty much every other draft though...hopefully the players they got will do good and I look forward to seeing them develop. Simplistic, I know.

I have a few reservations, but I suppose that's inevitable when you add higher rated guys than your picks would have otherwise given you.

They successfully did the same thing two years ago and netted Revis and Harris, but if either one of those picks did not pan out, it would have been a disaster. By the way, they went 4-12 that year and their lack of depth was exposed, especially on both lines.

With the loss of Elam and Coleman and the addition of nobody through the draft, the Jets defense actually got worse, certainly in terms of depth, unless any of the UDFA's pan out.

I'd like to thank espn for their free advertising, on behalf of the Jets, to undrafted free agents.

Young Jet...not sure we all believe that!!!

I'd rather stay where we are than take Braylon..
We already had one receiver who dropped everything his way

I'm not concerned with replacing Coleman. Ryan schemes his defenses using the strengths of the players he has. He doesn't get players to fit a specific scheme. I think we will see Gholston playiing a lot with his hand on the ground as part of a DE rotation.

Its is bizarre, the Jets have less players on their roster now then they did before the draft started. That's a rarity. Of course that changes once they sign the rookie free agent but its strange to create more holes at some spots after a draft instead of filling them. But its all about Sanchez and if he's the real deal the rest won't matter that much

The only thing that matters is Sanchez. If he becomes what the Jets front office thinks he will, then Tannenbaum and Co are geniuses and this is a great draft. If Sanchez fails, Tanny could lose his job. When things come to fruition, it wont matter what Shonn Greene and Slauson are doing, all that matter is Sanchez.

In Sanchez we trust

TJ will not be cut. We will need all the cap space we can get for Sanchez and Leon. It cost more to cut TJ than to keep him. TJ will report to camp because he has no other options. You also need the RB depth.

I think we had a pretty good draft. In my opinion we came out of it with 3 guys who i know will make the team and contribute. I think sanchez will be a star, greene will be good for us, and slauson will be a starter on our line one day. We didnt shy away and we moved up to pick the guys that we knew would help our team, and didnt settle. Nice aggressive draft.
