We’re all twittered up and whatever, so let’s take a break from that crap and do some real blogging round these parts …
- Some quips from Sanchez today from Jane.
- Cimini notes it’s not necessarily the tangibles that make Sanchez the right guy for New York.
- Sanchez impressed the coaches last month.
- The Jets were one and done yesterday.
- Breer analyzes the draft Day One.
- From LA to NY.
- Even in Miami, there are people who like the pick!
- According to Clifton Brown, Tannenbaum is the winner, not the Jets … hmm.

Interesting that he’s being called Pennington Plus. Albeit he was throwing in sunny California, his arm is echelons above Pennington’s in terms of strength. From what I’ve seen, there’s no reason to believe he can’t keep corners and safeties honest in pass coverage.
Definitely a fiery competitor. I remember early this past season he was reprimanded by the coaching staff for throwing a block against a much bigger defender on a running play. The kind of guy an offense wants to play for because he’s willing to put himself on the line for them.

Sanchez oozes confidence but not the smug confidence that makes your teammates want to throw you in the pool.
Pennington’s weak arm has more wins in the NFL than Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Cade McCown, David Carr, Byron Ate My Sandwich, and most of the other 1st round draft clowns.

Whats a good website for trade rumors, I have to be the first one to know if we are going for Edwards of Ocho Cinco.
