Every year around this time, the Jets round up a group of good-looking athletes, throw them in a room and put them through rigorous workouts and tests just to see if they have what it takes. Oh, and they work out football players. That’s right, folks! It’s Flight Crew Tryout Time!

“I didn’t tell anyone at work I was doing this,” laughed Julie Rogyom, 26, a civil engineer from Warren, N.J., who wowed the judges with her gravity-defying jumps, spins and kicks. “I go from being a tomboy at work mixing concrete to this – fluffing my hair, putting on rhinestones and getting spray-tanned.”

I’m impressed. That kind of stuff is not easy. I once tried to do a mid-air split and I looked like a horse giving birth. It wasn’t pretty folks. Anyway, the 30 finalists will compete next Saturday with last year’s 22 team members to see who makes the squad. We can only hope NFL Network is there to document it.
