Nickname for Clemens: The Green Mile

does he say anything interesting that deviates from the 5,000 other clips or transcripts we’ve seen?

well no QB is going to the pro-bowl with this group of WR. The jets have possibly the worst receivers in the NFL…

dave b,
i think thats the point. through all the speculation with cutler and cambell then now sanchez. hes always stayed consistent and confident. i love his mindset. and i love the way hes handled himself. this is his first reactions since the sanchez pick thats why its even up here. and hes still has his priorities straight. id imagine he learned some of that from good ‘ol noodle arm chad pennington. he had a girly arm. but he was our girl.

im pretty sold on sanchez but i do agree with the people that say clemens was givin the short stick… and then got a beating with the long stick. i wish clemens goes to a solid team and becomes a successful QB (outside the division), because he’s been a real stand up guy, even with is derailing circumstances, and deserves a real chance.

…with *his derailing…

HE IS A BUM TRADE HIM FOR A GATORADE COOLER

go get a stud WR or this season will be another good, but not great year.

I’ve read a number of transcripts in the ny rags where clemens reacts to sanchez, just wondering if there’s anything worth watching here. Let me guess, “it’s a fair competition for the starting job, and i’m looking forward to blah blah blah.”
I got your point though, he’s handled this like a true gentlemen…word on the street is that he’s also performing exceedingly well during minicamps.

1) KC has handled situation exactly as he should
2) the better he plays, the more it helps the organization
3) QB on this team should not have to have a Pro Bowl year for team to have a great year
4) I do not buy all the stuff about the 2008 running game having a lot of success because Favre and passing game had to be respected – is this the same offense that lived by throwing the ball 15 yards & less?
5) Regardless of whether we all think KC is a bum or should start, the GM & Coaching Staff clearly think KC is NOT the guy – so he will have to KO Sanchez to win the job – any decision is going to Sanchez
6) I have been on the record as against the trade – not because of Sanchez’s perceived abilities – because I think KC and a WR and OL depth was a better option than just Sanchez – but that is now irrelevant. I want both QBs to play their best, and really am indifferent as to who starts as long as the team wins. But we all know if KC gets the job he is on a much shorter leash than Sanchez
7) bottom line: lets turn Kerry into Ed Reed, VG into a monster, and the D as a whole into a until that takes the field saying “if we hold other team to 13 or less, we win”
8) J E T S JETS JETS JETS!!!
9) Goodnight and God Bless -
Unrelated, but I didn’t know where else to post this-
St. Louis recently released LB Pisa Tinoisamoa to make room for rookie James Laurinaitis as well as free up cap room. He was their leading tackler in ’08 and is known for his speed and ability to get to the ball. At 6′-1″, 240 he has great MLB size. You can never have enough LBs in the 34 and his tough, physical style would fit in well with Ryan’s system. Obviously, I think we should try to pursue him.

At this point of my life as a sprts fan I do not want to hear any athlete, not interested in how they feel about anything except the actual game, otherwise ssshhhh!
