Daily Links: Beam Me Up Edition

by Corey Griffin on May 9th, 2009 at 8:30 am

Take us out, Mr. Sulu.. err, Griffin. In honor of Star Trek’s phenomenal reboot, I’ve dedicated this weekend’s daily links to Trekkies everywhere. The movie is excellent. Go see it. But don’t send me pictures of yourself in Spock ears.. that’s just weird.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to do a “Legendary Figure not Leaving Football After All” post, but the Synergy between Jenn and Brett is unnerving.

I know who I’d rather share a huddle with, though.

    Memo to Al Davis:

You run a NFL franshise, not The North Dallas Bulls. The 70′s have long been over. Sell the damn team to someone who has a clue.

I think that’s unlikely to happen unless there is a fan revolt (which could happen) because he’s leaving the team to his son, Mark, who apparently some Raiders fans are concerned is pretty much just as clueless as his father. Good times. (Is there a more extreme Steinbrenner scenario brewing, I wonder?)

I dont buy that KC has had bad luck…. I do buy the fact that he hasnt had the balls to step and grab this job. He has has oppurtunites to be the QC in practices, offseason’s and (even though the OL was a mess) 8 starts.

IS it bad luck ir the fact that they dont think he can be the starter? I would go with the latter at this point
