Do you have a personal vendetta against Javon Walker or do you actually think he would be of use to us after rolling the dice on knee surgery?
I know we need an established vertical threat, but a Raiders cast-off coming out after a knee operation? There are better bets to be made.
Whatever Javon Walker is the answer to it is a lousy question. He would be a waste of a roster spot. He isn’t nearly as good as teh last raiders castoff.
Wow. Intense stuff from Jay Feely. I suppose I have a pretty mixed bag of emotions as they pertain to Vick: I am a dog lover and have easy contempt for the massive ignorance and self-delusion that led to his undoing. Having said that, I’ll always loathe the single-note approach the MSM takes in it’s portrayls of the latest flavor-of-the-month. This was not just a terrible crime but perhaps even a far greater waste of potential and opportunity. Mike Vick like all men is an amalgamation of qualities, both virtue and vice, and it was refreshing to read such an intimate (though limitedly) account of the man and the situation. If anything else it makes Jay Feely a far more compelling and interesting figure from this fan’s perspective.
Jay Feely is the man. Everyone should read his post on that blog. How many guys in the NFL can argue and write like Jay?
He might not have the biggest leg, but he’s got a great head, attitude, and perspective. And he loves to tackle. Keep this man in Green and White.
after reading what feely said i can honestly say vick does deserve a 2nd chance…just my thoughts…
