I suppose I have a pretty mixed bag of emotions as they pertain to Vick: I am a dog lover and have easy contempt for the massive ignorance and self-delusion that led to his undoing. Having said that, I'll always loathe the single-note approach the MSM takes in it's portrayls of the latest flavor-of-the-month. This was not just a terrible crime but perhaps even a far greater waste of potential and opportunity. Mike Vick like all men is an amalgamation of qualities, both virtue and vice, and it was refreshing to read such an intimate (though limitedly) account of the man and the situation.
