I want to speak up for the ladies and say that this is wonderful – stop rolling your eyes, fellas. Not only is he hot, but the Jets could have a superstar QB again, a la Broadway Joe, and that’s a good thing.
Plus, aren’t the Jets trying to be like the Patriots anyway? They tried all the Parcells/Belichik disciples, they started chanting “that’s a NY Jets…first down!” at home games (they do that at Pats games), and now they have a quarterback who will get as much coverage in the tabloids as in the sports section. Sounds about right to me. I prefer to back that up with a winning season, but hey, at least if we don’t get one this year, lady fans have something nice to look at. And you fellas now have 30 (thirty!) Jets cheerleaders to look at, so you’re doing okay, too.

And for clarity, I’m not hating on the guy, but any fan with sense knows his teammates are gonna hold him more accountable for his actions now and probably hold this over his head for a loong time, ecspecially the ones who never got pose for anything in their careers, lol…….let the hazing begin!!!!

You cant seriously compare Leinharts leadership, attitude, and personality to this kid. The only thing they have in common is USC. Good looking athletes get called to do spreads like this. Its nothing new. It sorta feels good to have a star like him. He represents us well at least and he was itching to be a Jet.

Sanchez is a known gym rat and film session kid…. 2 things that Leinart still hasnt figured out.

How do you figure leinart is not a film rat? And doesn’t take his job as serious as sanchez?…I mean the guy was a first round pick for a reason.
I just hope the same people who are going gaga over these modeling pics aren’t the same people who crucified a rod. I don’t have a problem with it, the only thing that bothers me is the timing, but I guess when your chance comes, you gotta take it right?…..

Besides the ridiculous contract he’s gonna sign because of where he was picked, this is just more attention and spotlight which just magnifies the pressure of living up to all the hype.
playing in ny is stressful enough, just hope it doesn’t affect his focus….and I could care less about how many game tapes he watched in school. Knowing NY media, this would be added ammo to tear the guy down if things don’t go as planned, 13td and 11int types of seasons aren’t gonna match up to the built up hoopla……ecspecially if we don’t win games.
