Canty made some complaints. He's no Richard Seymour or Ty Warren. The one-gap makes NG look superb. This is why I respect likes Jason Ferguson, Wilfork and Jenkins. You have Shaun Rogers so high yet they don't have Kris Jenkins on the list. I seen many occasions where Rogers got blown off badly, even in a one on one. The Browns got ran on like crazy. They have one of the best depth at NG. Another thing, Canty isn't that good, solid and dependable at most; I'm constantly saying that in one-gap scheme people's jobs are easier. He belongs in the front office, not being the leader of men. He is a guy that will turn an awful team mediocre by instilling fundamentals and structure but will never get a team over the hump. The Jets realized this and cut him loose. The guy dragged his whole rookie class on a 10 hour bus ride to HIS football camp in Hartford to "volunteer" then drive 10 hours back to Cleveland to suit the next day and crack heads. His whole team already cant stand him. Mangini is a good evaluator of young talent, NOT A LEADER OF MEN. Hey Hank, you'll probably duck me yet again, but how is Mangini gonna turn the Browns into the Pats with the team Pittsburg and Baltimore have in that division? I'm not a Mangini hater, I just don't think he was a very good coach. I don't believe he made good in-game adjustments. He proved too stubborn, even when an idea or plan wasn't working. One particularly glaring problem was his insistence on implementing his new systems, despite clear evidence that he didn't have the personnel to implement those plans successfully. I don't believe his Capn. Queeg approach helped in any measurable way. And may have kept some players from simple competence. Why didn't all those extra laps in Camp keep Anthony Clement or Adrien Clarke from jumping offsides at bad moments?
