Leon’s Motives For Not Showing Are Pretty Good Today

Sounds like Kellen’s new bundle of joy has a friend. According to Leon Washington’s fiancee’s Twitter page, it looks like Leon Washington had a son sometime in the last 24 hours and the little guy was 7 pounds and 10 ounces. His fiancee jokingly tweeted this morning that the baby is “Looking just like his daddy already. Dern shame!”
The cleverest part, is that his name is Noel. Leon. Noel. Leon. Noel. Get it?

When i think of the name ‘Noel’, i can’t help but think of Noel Redding, bassist for Jimi Hendrix and owner of the best afro on a white guy… except, for maybe Bob Ross..
I don’t think i’ve ever met a girl/woman named Noel, for what it’s worth..
Or are you guys referring to the girlishness of ‘noel’ like George Carlin made fun of guys named “todd” and “Kyle”?
It’s not a girly name at all (as evidenced earlier); in fact, the woman’s equivalent is “Noelle”.
In any event, congratulations to Leon and his family; now let’s get that contract business ironed out so that we can focus on turning out a great season this fall.

A. Noel Gallagher sucks, because Oasis sucks
B. Noel Redding had a cool fro, but was a mediocre bass player. The Experience was all about Jimi and Mitch.

LIAM Gallagher is the lead singer of Oasis and the guy who always gets in fights with paparazzi and spits on stage. By the way, he is tiny, so it’s a classic case of little man syndrome.
NOEL is the lead guitarist and songwriter (well, Liam’s written a handful of songs but they are, without exception, AWFUL.) Noel is by far the more laid back of the two (but that’s like saying he’s the fatter Olsen twin). In that respect, maybe he is more girly than Liam.
I’ve never seen either of them cry or wear mascara, but they certainly are John Lennon wannabes.
It’s pronounced the same as grassy knoll, but then I can’t guarantee that Leon’s son’s name will be pronounced like that.

Yeah, he was a Pro Bowl alternate last year, but one of the NFL’s best players?!?!
