Sanchez Settling In
For those of you in the area of Florham Park, today’s practice will begin at 11AM. We’ll try and keep with the beat reporters who are there on Twitter.
Once practices are done this week, it sounds like Mark Sanchez is headed home to see family, and then coming back to get more properly settled.
“I’m going to go home (to California) for a little bit just to see the family and get all of my stuff out from there and move it here,” Sanchez told reporters Tuesday. “I’m still living in a hotel, so I have to figure out my living situation. That (the off weeks) will be a good time to go do that and take a little time off myself, just relax for about a week because it’s going to be a long season. It’s going to be a grind, especially for a rookie. I’m excited about it, and I’ll be ready to go come camp time.”
The season for rookies is markedly longer than it is in college. With many teams playing just 13 games in a season, and with an almost month’s break in December, rookies can get worn down by the end of the pro season. It’s good to see he’s thinking that far ahead, and obviously preparing in a manner where he thinks he’ll be a starter.

Just another reason to have confidence that this kid gets it.
Wonder where he is going to live?
In Schottenheimer’s basement.
ramble – Very funny!
I hear Colts Neck is considered to many NY athletes as home.
Its just an hour to both the stadium and the training facility.
