I used to read his column, but had given up doing it. I found him far too wordy to make his point. His column went on and on and on. I prefer people to state their point, and then tell us why without rambling all over the place, just to hear himself talk. Quantity over quality is his mantra.

Peter King for all the access he has to players,coaches and the commish he can be a TOOL.I know leadership thanks to the Marine Corps and one would think that Woody does at least some from his fortune 500 days.PK needs to ask Brett (his boy)why did want to re-retire from the Jets then try a seems to be attempt at a comeback for the Vikings?And ask the commish about compensation in draft picks for the Jets with his back and forth after they released him as a favor to him.Run tell that.

I read the quote from Woody a couple of days ago and thought “that makes sense”. Poise under pressure is one of the qualities all great QBs have. Peter seems to assume that it’s the ONLY reason Woody liked him, and that’s just silly.

I enjoy reading PK, and sometimes think he shows great insight. Other times he just looks the fool.

I’ll consider this the latter.

I think if your investing 50 million in an asset, you need to have a point of view and decide what values are important. I think Woody relies on his football guys, but I think if your an owner you need to give a certain level of input. Football is a business, its a people business, IMO Woody’s input is valid.

There was a good article about how he collapses the second half of every season on espn as well. 12 of his 22TDs last year were by week 5. Damn you Brett!!!!
