The jets seem to be loaded at Linebacker, Management wants Vernon to play, and he may be ready this year. I wonder if this makes Bryan Thomas expendable. There is always Cleveland, but there are also a few teams Transitioning into a 3-4 (KC, Denver, Green Bay). Murrell has been doing work on Thomas's side, which could support this crazy notion. Trading Thomas is cap neutral, I would want a player, best you could possibly hope for is a 4th round pick. If this is actually done , its a senior management move designed to promote Gholston.
