3 man blocking wedges can still happen as long as the three blockers all arrive at the point of the block and from different angles.

The new rules might actually widen the gap between the most competent special teams units and the rest of the field.

At first I thought rule hurts us; on second thought, I am not so sure: 1) automatically helps our coverage 2) Westhoff is the best in the biz, he will adapt to the new rules better than anyone else

I spotted one problem and why we might not see too many this year. The rule of no more wedges on kick return.

How great could Leon be, if he had an Offensive Coordinator. Shottenheimer actually let Leon run the ball three times or less for half of our games. How we kept him as OC is frightening.
