Link: Even Sanchez’s Not Going Out Makes News
I know many of you don’t care, but it looks like this time, it’s Sean Avery picking up “sloppy seconds” (his words), according to the New York Post.
Having dated new Jet QB Marc Sanchez (after posing with him in GQ and helping him celebrate his $50 million contract), the curvy brunette looked very cozy with Ranger Sean Avery last night at Brother Jimmy’s in Murray Hill.
And check out this tidbit from The Big Lead about Sanchez.
Last week in a radio interview, Jim Nantz of CBS talked about where he and Phil Simms might be for their season opener, and the answer was Houston. The Jets open at the Texans, and Nantz seemed certain that’s where he was headed. His reasons were three-fold: Two big TV markets, the 1st career start for Sanchez (has anyone informed Kellen Clemens?), and the Texans are on the rise (fortified defense + healthy QB = playoffs?).
If Nantz and Simms are in Houston, then that’s a pretty big deal in my mind. It’s a signal that they’re pretty interested in the Jets’ (and of course Mark Sanchez, should he get the job) storyline.

I turn to the Jets Blog to see what they have to say about our idiot kicker all over deadspin, and all I get is Gloria Estefan news?
sanchez is the man definately the complete package now that hes got paid he just needs to get those huge freckles removed from his face they bother me
the one thing i loved about the acquisition of favre last year was all the media attention we got on cbs, fox, nfl network, espn, etc…. We were the game of the week a number of times.
I think that the whole favre saga has put us back on the map and the combination of Rex and Sanchez will put/keep us in all the pregames and midweek talk. The reason i care so much about this is because its a long week in between games and its good to hear about the jets in middle of the week.
I’d hate to break it to you guys, but Sanchez won’t be in the news much over the next few weeks unless its a football related story. The Jets have been very good about drafting players with high character in the last 10 year or so. Sanchez fits that mold as well. He’ll be too busy studying his play book and throwing to his receivers to make it in the tabloids. As we already have heard, he’s at the Jets HQ studying all hours of the day and night. The less we hear about Sanchez the better for now.
so, what happened with Feely?
Bassett, Bent & Co. must be avoiding the Feely issue like the plague. Basically, Feely was on Hannity and espoused a decidedly conservative and anti-Obama view. On his Twitter page he denied calling Obama a “socialist Muslim.” After my gun control debate, I’ll let this one alone.
*whistles*
who the hell cares what Feely thinks about politics anyways? i might as well ask my cable guy what he thinks this weekend’s weather is going to look like.
I always like having a Capitalist kicker!!!
Love Sean Avery but it feels great to have Sanchez pushing aside a hottie and Avery getting his sloppiness.
Another reason he is the franchise…. Already a playboy who let hot ass go to S Avery!!
JETS at TEXANS …. how sweet it sounds. Man I can’t wait !!!!!
