I am a firm believer that you take care of your own first. This picks at the time were not even signed. I would have liked to see the jets address the OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE TRENCHES BEFORE ADDRESSING QUARTERBACK AND RUNNINGBACK!!! Those positions were already stacked before the draft. You like the rest of the jets front runners wanted more; something exciting and new. So you were in favor of the GOLDEN BOY and college running back pickup. You say they haven't done certain things but most of what you say is actually arguable. If you didn't know Leonhard also does kick and punt returns. If it's about speed they have some other players on the team with some speed. They also signed Larry Izzo pretty much exlusively for what he could bring to special teams. You say that he is not demonstrating any consistancy is ridiculous as the demonstration comes after they have actually played games not just OTAs. Hell, Schottenheimer is still the brains behind what will be the offense of this team and most of these players with a few exceptions have been under his guideance for a while now and should be very much up to speed as they have consistantly been in his systems. What is there about maybe 5 offensive players on this team that are getting their first experience in Schott's system and maybe 1 of those might be a starter? I'm no rocket scientist but if one of those young WRs steps up and produces it should not surprise anyone since they have been in the system for more than a season now. The Jets don't do community involvement?
