The famous Rod Woodson praised Bart Scott on the NFL Network as one of the top five middle linebackers.

    For Woodson to say that Bart Scott and Brian Urlacher are tied,is really saying something about Scott. I don’t agree with Woodson but, for a pro like him to mention Scott in the same breath as Urlacher gets me real pumped up for the season. If Scott is that good — him and Harris should tear it up, this year.

    Bart Scott = 2nd best middle linebacker on the jets roster.

    i hate to say this , im saying it as a football lover in general but i think right up there with willis has to be that Mayo guy from NE. i disslike NE more than anybody but he was laying the lumber like ive never seen before against the jets…

    If D Harris can stay healthy he is a top 5 LB. Bart Scott brings big time leadership and being able to cover the TE to this team…..along with the Raven attitude and knowledge.

    Rookie year:

    Mayo 128 tackles, 1 FF, no sacks in 16 starts
    Harris 127 tackles, 2FF, 5 sacks in 9 starts

    Not saying Harris is as good, but if he can stay healthy, he’s at least close (and at a fraction of the price).
