It comes down to this: after defeating the titans the Jets were still in contention for top seed in conference, the lions meanwhile were already eliminated from the playoffs and sitting at around 0-9. The lions were only a QB away from...actually just winning a game nothing more. Well you gotta look at 08 to see where the pressure is coming, forget spot taken, forget contract forget the city. Now I have faith in Sanchez and i really like the way he presents and carries himself, but us jet fans have high hopes for him. We spent a 5th pick and traded up for him,so he better perform. It doesn't have to be immediate, but he has to be the franchise quarterback that we haven't had in 40 years.
