Daily Links: Tuesday’s Brew

  • Will the Curse of 370 show it’s ugly face? Or is ESPN just conjuring up a story for the headlines. As Bob would say, “You be the judge.”
  • A little Q&A with Lito Sheppard and how he was “always one of the guys.”
  • Silence is golden and for Mike Shanahan it brings money to the table.
  • John B. of GGN takes a look at one of the five battles to look for during the Jets training camp sessions.
  • Mythbusters: Football Edition. No, unfortunately Jamie and Adam [above in Lego form] are not here but Hank K. does do some myth busting of his own concerning Matt Stafford and Mark Sanchez.
  •  Is Woody willing to cut ticket prices or will the season ticket holders continue to pay his mortgage?
  • It seems some of our favorite players are making good on their word and have already hit the practice field, just another sign of what is to come my friends.
  • Leon Washington’s contract has been a hot topic lately [much to my dismay and calls for giving Shonn Greene the reigns just to shut them all up] but Mike Lombardi believes that this week things will really get red hot. With that said could Leon Washington be out of the 2009 plans???

  • Your neighborhood watchman has a reminder for you!
  • Don’t worry, recently released Michael Vick is not on Tannenbaum’s wishlist but then do we really need that drama with Sanchez on board? Woody don’t think so. In other news the Jets and Giants continue to shop the naming rights for the new stadium…

  • Shaq is getting his own show … What he had to say: “BEAT THAT KOBE! WATCH ME TRASH YOU AND T.O.” [insert pair of rolling eyes here].

  1. Lombardi’s suggestion that the Leon talks were due to heat up was 100% baseless. Sorry, HJN, but even if he does have good inside contacts he has proven that he hasn’t got a clue what’s going on in the Jets front office. All Lombardi produced to support his opinion was a link to last week’s Post article that speculated wildly on some Keels tweets.

Why would anyone hate Myron Rolle? Great guy.

Shaq’s actually getting to host his own show next Monday (WWE Monday Night RAW). If he trashes TO and Kobe, I won’t be rolling my eyes, I’ll be enjoying it.

  2. Caporoso’s 5 questions and answers are great!

great questions and I couldn’t have answered them better. his pointing out all the questions on offense has got me a little more nervous than i already was. I hadnt realized there were so many until all pointed out to me at one time.

with so many question marks on offense, what can we expect from our offense this year? statists-wise, rankings, overall performance, individual…

anyone have any input on that?

  4. Curse of 370? It’s only logical or expected. Directly we think of the physical pounding. i n addition the game planning by opponents in the upcoming season, or the belief by the coaching staff to provide aid for their feature back, or a receiving game to complement it. What curse?
