Ryan get the credit for Bringing along a rookie QB but it was Jim Harbaurgh that did. I was so impreessed with his offense. Too bad Rex knows little to nothing about that. shoulda lat Shotts go.

I saw a very recent rumor on espn.com about marshall to the Jets but im not an insider so I couldnt find out that much

I’ve been a confident, quite, supporter of the WR core…until last night. A move needs to be made to be competative this season.
I love Cotchery, he is an outsanding #2 receiver and after him there is a big drop off in talent and ability. Hopefully Mikey T takes a chance!

Fred,
The insider thread is:
“With several teams still in need of a dominant receiver — and their own squad in need of so much help all over the place — it could be getting increasingly hard for the Broncos to hang on to Brandon Marshall when they could use some high-round draft picks to rebuild the once-dominant franchise.
One possible destination that keeps popping up in rumors we hear is the New York Jets. Over the weekend, Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News noted that GM Mike Tannenbaum would be looking “under every rock” for some help at wideout, and this would likely include Marshall.
Although Cimini had praise for David Clowney after last night’s game against the Ravens, Clowney has not had to face the best cornerbacks yet, so the team may want to give him more starts to see what he can do.
If that little experiment fails, you can bet that Tannenbaum will be on the phone to Broncos GM Brian Xanders quite soon afterwards.”
Nothing really earth shattering there.
Zartan,
It’s still preseason so one could assume that Schotty kept it rather vanilla. They were also calling pass plays on 2nd and 5, and we can all agree that won’t happen in the regular season. As for Flacco, who is giving Rex Ryan credit for bringing him along? The only form of credit I’ve heard him get is that Flacco benefit from practicing against Ryan’s defense. And I’m pretty sure Ryan knows little about offense compared to Harbaugh also, but the opposite is true. One guy was an offensive coach, the other defensive. I don’t see how it’s a knock against Ryan, a D-coordinator, that he doesn’t have a mastery of some offensive system, when he isn’t going to be calling plays on it anyway. -
So ESPN Insider’s only source is Rich Cimini’s musings? Thank god I don’t pay for Insider.

all im gonna say is that Kellen looked better last night than Sanchez. If you couldnt see that, then you MIGHT wanna get your eyes checked.
-
I hope they don’t sell the farm for a receiver since the Jets will likely be starting a a QB who will need a year trying to figure out how to get the ball to him.
-
Not to me. Sanchez looked nervous in the beginning, but really showed me something by bouncing back like that. Clemens just looks outclassed and shows zero leadership out there.

If the Jets do not sign little Leon and he walks next year and signs with oh I don’t know the Dolphins, Bills, or worse yet the Patriots I will revoke my Jets membership.
Captains should be as follows…
Leon
Cotch
Nick my sister can beat you up Mangold
Pot Smoking…Snow Ball Throwing Ellis
Rhodes

Brendan, schefter had something in his first post on Jets WRs, appreciate if you could let us know what he said and if there’s anything about marshall..

Brendan, evry time i hear of sanchez ,sport annalist say that Ryan brought Flacco along and knows a thing about Rookie QBs.
lets not get this twisted, i have a man crush on Ryan. I’m not comfurtable as i want to be in Schotty after the 2 preseason games. His playcalling is suspect. Just because your going to run the ball alot doesnt mean the defense need to know.
If this keeps up, were going to have a long year. i still believe that the players are able to pull it off dispite his shortcomings.

want to say that Jim gameplaned against us. He took the game way too serious if you seen his face.
You guys need to stop blamming our WR. Schotty really sux and i thought he would come out better this year. i dont care who you bring in at WR, they will suck in this system.
