Thank You: TheJetsBlog.com’s Fifth Anniversary

Can you believe it? We started this blog, FIVE YEARS ago today. Five years ago, I sat at my computer, looked at a quote from a newspaper online and thought it would be cool to talk about how Chad Pennington talked about going “Madden Football” (opening up the playbook wide) on an opponent.

Although we don’t have anything extremely self-congratulatory or impressive lined up yet, over the course of the next week we’re going to try and find some of our best articles and provide some special extras for you as a way to say thank you for joining us during the past five years. Whether this is the first post you’ve read or you’ve been here since the beginning (I’m looking at you, Bent) we just want to say thanks for giving us the opportunity to have fun and find interesting stuff to talk about regarding the Jets every day of the year.

    Following the Jets from far-away Denmark has been a whole lot easier since I personally came across TJB four years ago.

    The TJB feeds are still my favorite form of procrastination and the site continues to amaze me with new angles/new sources – and not least amuse me.
