War of Words: Is it January Yet?

by Weeks on October 9th, 2009 at 9:11 am

Roger Goodell should consider encouraging players to use Twitter more often because these days it just adds to the already drama-filled NFL. After Shutdown Tweeted about the high energy and focus in the locker room your favorite player and mine, Chad Ochocino, responded to Darrelle’s Tweet going on about how he can’t even be covered and how he would take over the Big Apple for three hours [check out full conversation here].

What would we do without Twitter and KSK? Well for one we wouldn’t get to see the door fly open.

Haha, I like Ocho, but he’s obviously scared about Revis ALREADY.
Sheesh, this is gonna get good.

  2. avatar Bent says:

He went for 5-57 last year against Revis for what it’s worth.

  3. avatar Brendan says:

Exactly Bent, and this year Revis has entered a new stratosphere.

Well that was unprovoked. I like Johnson, i refuse to call him ochocinco, but wtf. That’s game 16. Why is he making that comment now? I could understand if revis made some kind of comment about his shutdown abilities or something like that, but he was talking about energy and focus in the locker room. I don’t get it. W/e that’s just chad being chad i guess.

It’s really all in good fun, obviously. I don’t think anyone should be taking this too seriously.

I love it, but no need for ‘Chad being Chad’ or getting too riled up about it.

    This is just fun banter….

  7. avatar TJBfan (twitter @infresco4) says:

yeah i was just going to say this is obvious playful banter.

If they didn’t like each other than ochocinco would have never replied to his tweet since Revis has(or at least had) his account settings to confirm someone who wants to follow him.

This is actually the second time C.O.C. Commented on Revis’s Tweet He did one last month. Revis was talking about being in the weight room or something and Chad said he should be doing more to prepare for him and that he was gonna beat Revis… something along those lines.. I love it I think its a sign of respect…. He knows Revis is a Top corner and He is obviously concerned about the challenge!
