Derek Wake is a guy who had a 5th round grade after a strong combine and an even better pro day but was not drafted. At that time he was only 236 pounds so really only on the radar of 4-3 teams unless as a long term prospect. The giants released him after having picked him up as a udfa and he was dominant in cfl. We don't get cfl in the uk any more, but I did see him destroy the Argos for 3 sacks in the season opener in 2007. In college he was productive, as a 4-3 olb and de on passing downs, but was overshadowed by hali and posluszny. Correct.
