The new word for “Monday” appearently.

Congrat to Josh McDaniels (McGenius?), the anti Mangini. Great win, for him, for the Broncs and the Jets. And personally I am glad they made all the scribes appear the fools they truly are, could anyone have gotten skewered more than JM this pre season?

Pats lost Matt Light and a defensive back to injury and looked very beatable, finally the league has realized you need to rush Brady. At some point the league will start to rush Peyton too, but watching TN sit back in Cover 2 and 3 all night getting picked apart brought back horrible memories of the Jets of the last two, three, four, no maybe 15 years.

The standings are very enticing this morning, 4-1 would be huge and is there for the taking. Not an easy game, but one the Jets have to win to be considered serious players.

Jay Feely, my favorite Jets, unless he misses a big FG of course :-).

Thx, Tuna for you short sightedness in releasing Mr. Automatic (he types with trepidation 12 hours from gametime).

The mere presence of Braylon Edwards will not open up the running game, opponents will remain in “show me” mode with Sanchez until he complets some big plays downfield.

While I hope the Jets revert to pounding the running game between the tackles, I would like to see one big shot downfield off play action early in the game, even on the first play like preseason.

Great article on Feely, thanks for the link.

    Nice EW.

Good job and thanks on this chilly monding.

I agree that it will take more than just Edwards ‘presence’ but I do think that Edwards and Sanchez will hook up and burn a defense sooner rather than later. When that happens, it’s a whole new game for our running backs.

I would not in the least be surprised to see the Jets open this Miami game with a play action bomb to Edwards, just to show Miami that they need to be on their toes for the long ball.

Edwards is someone that has to be accounted for…They will need to have a safety on his side…regardless of if its a rook throwing to him…or my seven year old sister…anybody can toss a ball up for grabs..this will def help the run game.
