As far as I can tell, you cannot blitz the Wildcat. This D is built around the blitz, so that is a big reason we lost.
All the same, 3 tds in the 4th quarter is humiliating. We have got to beat Oakland into the gound next week.
Thomas Jones looks old out there. We need Greene to step up and become the franchise qb.
correction, grenne franchise rb.
Did not matter whethar it was d’wildcat or base offense, Jets simply could not stop the run and a good running game, coupled with well times screen plays, neutralizes a blitz happy defense.
Jet run defense has to improve quickly or this could get ugly fast. Their DE’s suck as do the back up noset tackles. Jenkins the Whale is the entire run defense right now but can only stay on the field for one series at a time before needing oxygen.
The Jets defense has not been able to do much the last two weeks. Something is broken and the coaches better fix it otherwise we are going to be embarrassed again!
wise old jet fan
Marques Douglas I’ll admit may suck but Shaun Ellis is a great play actually 1 of the premier 3-4 de’s in the league. you are judging eveerything from this 1 game it seems. If that the case does revis suck too?
