unprepared, unmotivated, overconfident, pathetic, out coached, outplayed, out hustled,……….anyone care to add?

  2. avatar Joe B. says:

All I know is Braylon and Kerry shouldn’t be the only ones looking in the mirror this week. Time to decide which way this season is gonna go.

Kris Jenkins said it best in that video….
Good football teams learn from things like this..

Early success can lead to a bit of complacency.. I think that’s what we saw.
i love the confidence that “they can’t beat us,” or, “they aren’t going to score on us” from Rex.. but it was “wake up time” this week..

I’d rather have “wake up time” in week 5. I feel bad for the Bills.. i really do.. They’re going to catch a beat-down this coming week.. I can sense it.. I hope I’m right.

God I’m so miserable right now, can’t imagine how some of the players and coaches are feeling right now. We all have to shake it off and get this train back on track.

  5. avatar NJets says:

Thomas Jones needs a wake up call. When the defense is on the field all game because we cant extend drives (Revis is doing sprints all game, and Jenkins can barely catch his breath) things like that happen. If Leon doesnt end up starting for us by the end of the season, Ill be really pissed. The guy is the only weapon we have on the ground right now.

I said it before and I will say it again. When the front seven of the jets defense matches up against the front seven of the opposing offensive line who will win when they have to go head on? Take away the scheme plays! Take away all the rah rah!! I said it before the draft that this team needed a solid defensive, explosive player to help win games like these. We need a solid offensive lineman to spell woody, or ferguson, or even faneca to kick start the running game. It is games like these and against the saints that we needed these players because now the entire nfl knows how to the beat the jets. MAN TO MAN PHYSICAL STYLE FOOTBALL!! You can blame the defense, blame rex ryan (he did show he was a sore loser in his post game interview though) but the mistakes that this jets team has made starting with the owner and the gm are trickling down to these games. Sanchez may not have shot the jets in the foot like last week but he did show at times how fortunate he was to have Braylon Edwards next to him. He did show that he is not the type of quarterback to lead the jets to a win. When he needed to prolong drives and hold onto the ball he looked intimidated and rushed his throws. Chad Henne showed an aura of pocket presence and made the correct reads to dismantle the jets defense when it mattered. Give credit to Pennington to working extensively with the guy and help him work the offense efficiently. The jets defense was at times predictable in this game moreso when they attempted to put pressure on Henne. Ryan must have copied his plan of the ravens defense earlier this year in the playoffs against the dolphins and used it tonight. The wildcat offense is expanding now and the jets defense was the latest victim of it. Ryan wanted to fight the offense straight up and lost. Ryan is really dumb that he cannot see the source of knowledge, resiliency, and flexibilty his players like Revis, Harris, Thomas, Gholston, and Ellis have. He uses them in one scheme and thats it. “We fight until the end with this scheme win or lose” well you might just write a loss everytime this happens. Sanchez and Ryan showed their true colors last night. Let it serve as a reminder for the rest of the season.

J-E-T-S got waxed by M-I-A-M-I…..Shut up cry babies and play football. Pace should be embrassed for the walk he talked..

    M-I-A-M-I

No heart and same old JETS

  8. avatar NJets says:

Bent… can we get a chat going or something? i think people need to vent… by people… i mean me to other people.

  9. avatar Chris says:

I’m glad this happened. Sanchez got too high way toooooo quick and Rex has been running his fat mouth for too long with little results.

I’m still very confident in this season, I think the last two weeks SHOULD be a positive for late in the season. Each unit has let down now and it’s time to get to work and forget all the off-field nonsense.

The next 3 are very winnable and the Jets need to have all of them. 6-2 start, going 3-1 in each quarter should set up nice for 10-11 wins. I think that gets the division and/or 2nd wildcard behind one of the AFC North teams…San Diego will fade away and I believe so may Baltimore, their defense just isn’t the same.

But doses of humility will only benefit this young coach and Qb in the end…

NJets bent is off the grid until at least tonight … we’re alone in the dark … lol

    “I was wrong.” – Ryan.

Last year, in response to his own clock-mgt. woes, formerly Mangenius installed Mike Westhoff as his “asst. HC/bench coach” to help him with knotty issues as they arose over the course of a game — to have that other, experienced voice in his ear at critical times.

Last night, Rex finally suffered HIS rookie moment, something many people predicted would pop up at some point in the year, just as it would for Sanchez. Sadly, Rex’s was on a national stage.

We’ve watched Mark work his way back from his, we’ll now see how Rex handles his own newbie mistakes.

It’s impressive to hear Rex say he just didn’t think Miami could score on his defense, that’s exciting. But it’s also incredibly naive and not very smart. A true “rookie moment.” He needed someone wise in his ear, saying “call timeout!” He was thinking like a DC, not a HC.

Plus, in a rare moment where fonzie and I agree on something, fonzie nails the fact that Rex was an astonishingly sore loser last night in his presser. So much so that it bordered on being bush, and set the tone for a parade of whiners to come out of that lockerroom, except for Sanchez who took the high road.

That hurt worse than the loss.

Here’s hoping Rex taps his dad or Westhoff, or somebody, to be a sidelines mentor, or extra voice. If Rex continues to be DC, he’s gonna need someone to cover HC duties. It was obvious last night that his DC duties got in the way of his being HC. Maybe he really thought he could do both.

    He can’t.

    Not without help.

Now we have to endure Henne=New Brady.
Felt better this morning. I think a lot of people are taking this bad because of last year but the thing is this team is much more talented than last year’s squad.
We’ve been knocked out twice in very different ways. I’m still worried this team doesn’t have the experience playing from behind (last night they had a statistic that the Jets have only won one game while behind by more than four points in the 4th out of the past 38 or something). Our team is growing up fast and they should know they have no reason to quit. The Buffalo game gives us a huge shot at redemption and a chance to regain our momentum.

  13. avatar FinFan says:

I hate the Jets but I love the fact we have such a great rivarly bein ga dolphin fan it makes the games fun.

Thing is before the game I knew the fins could win but it would be a close one like it always is against the Jets.
I have respect for the Jets team but dont like em, I kinda lost respect when the coach and players for the Jets thought they where just gonna come in and dominate us.

I think the dolphins players respected the Jets and thats why they won, maybe if the Jets learn to respect there opponents they would have one that game, the fins are better than there record indicates, the fins are also built to beat AFC opponenets, they are big and physical just look at there roster we have a two tight in running set on the wild cat and our rookie tight end is 6 ft 8 and is a great blocker,
We also have Thomas back at right guard and Grove at center both are bigger and stronger blockers which we didnt have against the ravens last year, plus Jake Long is in his 2nd year and Smiley is healthy, the fins are a young and strong team as well and getting better.
the jets and fins games in the future are gonna be awesome to watch
    I think bringing
in braylon edwards was a good move and helped the Jets.
But any True Jets fans knows after Parcells build his inner line and core he goes after a great big reciever.
now we have a QB who can get tedd ginn teh ball deep and I can see BOLDIN coming into the fins lineup next year as the big receiver he is a parcells type of guy and is from South Florida, Ocho Cinco also wants to come aboard.
The fins get any one of them with tedd ginn and our running game and shore upo our safety in the offseason or draft and we are close to going deep in the playoffs.

Keep your head up jets fans and dont be like the pats fans that whine, you guys are very close as well and the Jets and Fins are gonna be in a battle to run the afc east for years to come.

here we go again im getting sick of this sh** every year COME ON JETS WHAT THE HELL!

  15. avatar BroadwayBob says:

Let’s face it – if this offense can put 27 points on the board each game, this team is going to the playoffs. I call this one a fluke. The TOP was just about even. In fact, the o-stats were just about even. I was hoping Sanchez could do more on 3rd down. The D totally broke down on 3rd down at the end of the game.
