Topic for discussion.

Preseason everyone presumed the JEts were facing a much tougher schedule than last season, an always dangerous proposition to base this years schedule strenght on last years record.

Records to date of the 16 opponents (division counted twice) 34-43 so appears the schedule will not be any tougher than last year, so it is the right time to make a run at the division title.

It was also common belief that the first five games were the meat of the schedule, when in fact it turns out their opponents so far have an 11-13 record, tougher than the overall 34-43 record of all opponents, but hardly tough.

A little basic math tells you that their remaining opponents have a 23-30 record so if they continue to learn from their rookie mistakes and remain relatively healthy they should be in contention right until the end.

I'm watching the UFL on VS. My first game - I don't have cable. It's pretty cool. Kind of like watching low tier NCAA schools. Brooks Bollinger and Anthony Schlegel are playing, I think for Florida. I'm just catching the end of the game. The more football, the merrier. I want them to put the CFL on network.
