TJB Radio Show Wrapup
Posted on October 17th, 2009 by Corey Griffin
It’s a couple days late, but we’ve got the wrapup of the latest edition of the TJB Radio Show wrapping up Week 5 and looking ahead to Week 6. Newsday’s Bob Glauber made time to join us and share some great insights.
Some topics from the show:
- Who’s fault was Monday night’s loss exactly?
- Rex will learn from his clock management mistakes — believe it. He’s too good of a coach not to.
- Bob brought up that the defense will right itself, but it’s probably somewhere in the middle of coming down to the Earth and failing to live up to expectations.
- Speaking of Rex, the way he blamed the practice squad was inexcusable. It’s HIS responsibility to prepare the practice squad, so if they fail, he and the coaches fail.
- The Jets need to knock the Bills off of their season’s edge and get back the respect they had going into last week and right their season’s ship.
- Will the Jets face wildcat formations as the season goes on?
- The Jets had better — and WILL — get in Trent Edwards’ face.
- I want to see NFL films, Ray Lewis-level hits on this Bills team. Let’s see Bart Scott and company flatten people.
- This game needs to be a beatdown, plain and simple.
See you next week, WEDNESDAY at 2:00 p.m. at BlogTalkRadio.com/TheJetsBlog!

Corey:
Kudos to you. I listened to your analysis on the TJB radio show and came away impressed with your well informed, direct, no bull view of the game Monday and the challenges the Jets face in the comming weeks.
To some your comments may sound negative, disparaging comments, but your love for the Jets can be heard in your desire for the team to c
cont…your desire to correct them NOW!!!
I believe you have hit the nail right on the head.
God knows we have had enough Rah, Rah, BS. What we need now is a lot more preparation, and COACHING from Rex Ryan.
Hank,
Thanks man. I really appreciate the kind words.
Great show, Corey
