Cotch would be missed, if he sits out but, we have no shortage of weapons. It took all of one week, for us to see that Braylon is the missing link we all have been hoping for. We need an Offensive Coordinator who puts Sanchez in a comfort zone, and utilizes all of our weapons, to take advantage of the other teams weaknesses.

We had the division leading rusher, last season. Schotzy has the same team as last year, plus Shonn Greene and Sanchez, and he actually said that it would take five or six weeks for the running game to come together. Schotzy has no excuses -- sixth game, in the rain, against Bufflao with three new backers -- RUN IT, YOU MORON!

Danny Woodhead- 5''9 200
Wayne Chrebet 5''10 180
both undrafted

Maybe Woodhead could make the transaction?

I know man, the Saints are going up and down the field on the Giants D. I really think that against most traditional NFL style offenses our D can stand up to anyone. Gotta prove it again today at 4:15...

Yeah Eddie I think this just shows how last week was more of an aberration than anything- we only gave up 10 points to Brees the whole game on defense and the Giants gave up 21 in the first half!

Oh yea and the Saints are DESTROYING the Giants right now. We took one on the chin against Miami last week and Francesca killed us and Rex.He also anointed the Giants God's gift to football

Thats why even as bad on D as we were last week, I truly believe it was an aberration. We got WildCat'd. Doc K is right though, Pace played his worst game as a Jet last week but gets a pass bc of the rust factor. We need to get him going bc with the talent around him on this D, he can be like a Terrell Suggs. The guy has that kind of talent. That's why this week we have to throw Buffalo a beating on the defensive side so we can get back on track. Gotta get a win today

With Howard Green gone I would look for a big body in the middle via trade. You can bet Rex was pretty mad about last week and won't let that happen again. Pace needs to improve as he was horrendus last week. (I'll give the benefit of the doubt since it was his first game back).

The question is: who will Trader Mike taget next as that big clogging runstopper in the middle next to Jenks?

To answer the question above: run, run and run some more. Look for all backs to contribute today (including Woodhead).

Clowney and Keller have to step up in J Co's absence. Braylon is the #1 go-to guy now. After last week, I dont think anyone would have a problem with that.

But like others have said, run the ball. If we can get a MIX of formations using TJ, Leon and Greene we should be alright. We cant just run TJ with a fullback, a tight end and two wideouts. He has to get the ball in every kind of formation. Also, test the edges. We run right at everyone all the time. Lets test the perimeter.

Bottom line is this is a winnable game. We are better in all 3 phases,(man just sounded like Mangini there...barf). I think this game is gonna look alot like the Texans game.

If we do trade Douglas, its probably for a draft pick next year. I think Ryan wants to play Pouha at the end more often.
But this doesn't make sense, we just released Green.
