Now… the way I see it, you’ve got your Talking, and you’ve got your Walking.
I really don’t see any harm in all the Talking. In fact, it’s rather fun as many of us have said since Rex was brought in to be Sexy Rexy. Nothing bad with it, per se. And if it gets your team (and even your fans) pumped up, cool, go for it. Have fun.
You just need to remember to bring along the Walk with you wherever you go. If ya brings yer Walk, have fun with the Talk. If you’ve left the Walk at home in your other pants, say, then, well, leave the Talk in the locker room.
After Miami, Rex sounded like a classic whiner, and led a chorus of whining. Pure Loser stuff.
This week, he sounded like a whipped puppy, kinda like late-era Herm.
Rex, the brash thing works for you. And for your team. But so did surprising the crap out of three good football teams. (OK, we still thought TN was good at the time.) There’s no more surprise to be had. Everybody knows you guys have stuff. So they’re prepared for stuff.
So, while you’re Talking, just make sure you’re prepared to keep Walking past their preparations.
Then, you can keep on Talking.

I’m not saying Jets are done, but let’s be smart! With his contract up, It’s time to shop Thomas Jones to a would be contender with need for a featured back.
Especially after Sunday’s 9-yards per carry show! Buy Low and Sell High, right?
And, he’s Steal! Cheap. Fast. Powerful. All Highway Miles driven by a Lil’ Ol’ Lady in Sun City, Arizona (and a cup of coffee in Chicago).
There’s a lot of Tread left on those Tires!
Shonn Green can Step In and Step It Up: Jets get draft picks (depth) or defensive line help (Kris Jenkins).

Can we trade Gholston for a sack of used footballs?

How anyone read Jetsconfidential I do not comprehend.
To criticize Beningo for expressing his frustration is bizarre. Of course what happened in 1991 has nothing to do with the current roster, but it has plenty to do with Joe’s frustration as a fan.
As for Lebs point about benching Gholston for Murrel and/or Westerman, while I agree with the premise that Gholston should see the bench, the argument that those two are making plays and Gholston is not is equallty bizarre.
Maybe they will, maybe they won’t with more playing time, but neither has done anything on the field. Westerman has not even played and Murrel has mostly been invisible except for the assinine punch that led to Digs penalty.
