Jack & Row,

We drafted Ainge to play QB. He was quite good in colllege, from a top college team. He has been treated like dogmeat, from the day we got him. He has shown, in pre-season, that he has the ability to get the job done. In my opinion, he played better than Kellen Clemens. In my post, what I am saying is that, Schotzy, who runs the Offense, has no judgement of talent. If Sanchez keeps playing poorly (and I include our last game as a poor one), Ainge should be given the opportunity to step in. He was here last year, knows the system, and he has what it takes to be a solid pro QB. You might disagree. Time will tell.

Last year, it took half the season, before Dustin Keller was thrown the ball. After three great games, Shotzy forgot to throw to him for the last four or five games. Did you see the catch that he made, against Oakland? Is this a guy who should be forgotten about?

Last year, Leon got to run the ball three times or less, in half of our games. One game, he touched the ball one time, for a sixty yard TD, and never saw it again.

Last year, Chansi Stuckey caught a TD in our first three games. He didn't see the ball, until the last game of the year.

Shonn Greene looked great, in pre-season. Granted, he has been injured at times but, why do we have to wait until the seventh game to get some serious yards from him.

David Clowney burns the defense, almost every time they throw the ball to him. Where has he been?

Bottom line, Brian Schottenheimer has no judgement of talent and no ability to call plays. If we had a good OC, we could be undefeated. One day, Rex will wake up.

Of course the O-Line was great, but to say we shouldn't make a big deal out of Greene's performance is crazy.

fwiw, Greene's 144 yards rushing were the second most in Jets history for a rookie, besides Matt Snell's 180 yards in 1964. The player he bumped to third place: Leon, who had 129 against Detroit in 2006.

Greene looked good. Surprisingly fast for a big back. But Jose is not incorrect. There were some huge holes to run through..
