Film Room: A Bounty of Interviews
Posted on October 28th, 2009 by Bassett
Here’s a veritable CORNUCOPIA of Jets interviews via the good folks at SNY.
On the Line with Damien Woody – 10/28/09
Wheelhouse: Kerry Rhodes – 10/27/09
Jets Extra Point: Mike DeVito – 10/27/09
Geico SportsNite: Bart Scott – 10/27/09

LOL, Bart cracks me up. “That’s it? I drove 45 minutes over here and all I get is a little two-minute segment.”
LOL @ Scott
If we win this game this week, the Dolphins would have to go 8-1 the rest of the season to even sniff the playoffs.
Like I said before, the 2 wildcard teams will come from the AFC North and the AFC East. So eliminating the Dolphins will gives us a very good shot at making the playoffs.
I don’t see us stopping the run completely but I still think we have a shot at redemption. We have shut down finesse runners like Chris Johnson and Steve Slaton but we’ve continued to struggle against runners like Pierre Thomas, Justin Fargas and Ronnie Brown.
In a way it’s funny, the Raiders in our game against them reminded me of the Jets last year except every weakness was magnified.
1) QB who slings it down field whenever he’s in trouble
2) Under utilized but talented TE
3) Two good RBs that are phased out because the team is behind
4) Defensive line who allows at least 5 yards every carry
5) LBs that look lost in coverage and out of position
6) All-pro CB that disappears due to the lack of talent around him
Thanks for the video selections, I’m crazy busy at work so having these consolidated at TJB is awesome.
I also think that the Phins are going to make some plays in the Wildcat, they are hands down the best at running it in the NFL. I think the key is not letting Henne look like he did against us the first time. If he struggles, the way our running game is clicking the Dolphins wont be able to score enough points just using the WildCat
Bart Scott made a great point, we as Jets fans and the Jets themselves have seen and know this team can play better than they did the last time, but can the Dolphins. It took a near perfect game from them to squeak out a win against us.
