Miami Dolphins Slaughtered on South Park

Last night, Comedy Central’s South Park had an episode lampooning the TV show Whale Wars and got in a murderous rampage on the Miami Dolphins for good measure.

For those of you unfamiliar, Whale Wars is a series about a group of activists who work to impede Japanese whaling vessels. It’s an interesting show and one with a good cause, until you realize that the team’s efforts are in large part, totally ineffective.

Our thanks to Matt B. who sent the clip along. We were watching the episode last night and wondered … should we? Thanks for the push, Matty!

  1. I saw this last night and said to my gf i guarentee this is on thejetsblog tomorow!

  2. Comical. I will be at Sunday’s game by default; my dad is a Miami fan. Thanks for posting.

  3. That episode was hilarious. Whale Wars really is boring, though

  4. F**K YOU, DOLPHINS!!

  5. Great episode, even if I have Cartman singing “Poker Face” stuck in my head. Screw Miami!

  6. Missed the episode but a Dolphin fan told me about it this morning….stunned it wasnt on TJB first thing….

  7. Very funny, and I agree with Harris52 about the song. I don’t even like that song but all I can hear in my head is Cartman singing it.

  8. Between this and the Bill Belichick “cheating = savvy” theme when Cartman was a teacher at an inner-city school, I honestly believe Matt & Trey are Jets’ fans.

  9. I like how Dan Dierdorf was less outraged by a brutal human culling than he was when Sanchez ate a hot dog.

  10. Bent gets a gold star for that one.

    Hey Angel-

Howww dooo I reeeach theeese keeeeeds?!?!

  11. I believe this is a sign.

Five years before Brokeback Mountain, South Park makes fun of independent films by creating a short about gay cowboys eating pudding.

Two years before Mel Gibson went on his anti-semitic rampage with the cops, South Park was mocking his insanity in the wake of “The Passion.”

One week before the Jets play Miami, South Park depicts the slaughter of the phins. Happy Halloween everyone!

  12. LMAO! Oh man, cant wait to us do the same against the Fish

  13. I like how they featured Joey Porter
    **** YOU DOLPHINS!!!

  14. to expand on matt and trey’s secret love of the jets, they even mentioned them as the favorite to win the AFC back in the day during the “two men naked in a hot tub” episode

yes, i watch too much south park…

  15. Trey and Matt are def’ly Denver Broncos fans. Many of the early South Park episodes featured Broncos references. I believe that John Elway was even one of Cartman’s potential fathers (no wait mothers since Mrs. Cartman is a hermaphrodite).

    But I digress, GO JETS!!!!

  16. zenlaw, I believe that ep concluded with the reveal that Cartman’s mom, being a hermaphrodite, was also cartman’s father….

  17. They’ve taken their shots at the Broncos too.

At the pool party on the Guitar Queer-o episode:

“Wow, Jay Cutler. Hi Jay, you kind of suck, but my Dad says you might be good one day.”

  18. clearly they’re broncos fan (the cutler rip aside), but they’ve shown some seriously love for the jets and some serious hatred for their rivals. all we need now is for matt and trey to give the entire bills roster aids and we’ll have the AFC East trifecta!

  19. ive been watching south park for a while im pretty sure they are bronco fans they always talk about elway and the whole 86 bronco team had a chance to be cartmans father….ha dierdorf “thats the kinda thing you dont want to see on kickoffs”

  20. great clip!!!
