Also, all his boyfriends on this board will hate him by the end of next year just like the stupid Mets fans who were somehow fooled by Jerry Manuel and his personality/charm have now finally realized he’s an awful manager…Hopefully, someone like Jon Gruden will still be available…Just like after the Coupon’s finally fire Jerry Manuel next year, hopefully Bobby Valentine will still be available…Then again, the Coupon’s probably wouldn’t hire Valentine anyway…Thankfully, Acta has already been hired!!! Go Jets 2011!!!!!!!!!

I am not off the bandwagon but can’t say I was always 100% on it…I knew coming into this season we weren’t going to b perfect and go 16 and 0 and knew that most likely we won’t go deep into the playoffs, mainly because of a rookie qb and rookie head coach….but I did know that as soon as we got rex we were going to b a different team ( not the “same ol jets”)

That being said as soon as we won our first 3 games, 3 tough games, I can say that I did have more expectations for this team…but was brought down to earth after that deflating bills loss…I don’t think schotty is a problem but I do agree his play calling is to predictable….like his goal line formation he called about 4 times when we were at the 30 yard line…that was plain ridiculous! But again I don’t think he is the reason y we r losing these games…in each game we put enough points to win the game…it was mistakes that cost us those games, not because we didn’t score enough….wut I think we r missing in order to win these types of games is for the whole coaching staff to be consistent in keeping this team focussed and prepared to play on every given Sunday for 60 minutes….we have had games where the offense and special teams shows up but defense doesn’t (first miami game)…we have had games where the defense and special teams step up but the offense doesn’t (saints game, but only cuz of out rookie qb) and we have had games where our special teams didn’t play well enough to win( bills game and yesterdays game)

Again I think that as soon as this coaching staff steps up their coaching and has this team prepared every Sunday that’s when we will start winning these close games and be an elite team! All we need is CONSISTENCY!!! CHILL OUT GUYS, THEY WILL GET THIS FIXED! WE STYLL HAVE A SHOT AT THE PLAYOFFS AND EVEN IF WE MISS IT WE ALL KNOW THAT WE HAVE A VERY GOOD TEAM TO LOOK FOWARD TO NEXT YEAR AND WE WILL SOON B A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH! GO JETS!

funny how it’s al “If (we haven’t had those penalties),If (Jason Taylor had not been at the right place at the right time), If….If…..IF…. but “IFs” do not win you games, good players and coaching do.. at the end…all that counts is a “W” or a “L”…but as Jets fans, you cannot admit that a team that defeats you twice is better than yours…. grow up, stop being crybabies and you may, just may, belong to the big leagues once again.

I have a suggestion for TJB. Since it’s the halfway point of the season, and we’re 4-4, and this blog seems to be split between the SOJ faction and the “we’re really ok” faction, I think a poll is in order.

Simply – Will the Jets make the playoffs this year?

Put me down for a No, only because I’ve watched this movie so many times, that the trailer (first 8 games) doesn’t pull me in – I know how it ends.

if you have seen every game like me you could believe the jets should be 8///0 we made so many mistakes in our loses saints 2td spotted final score 24//10 dol long pass to gin td 31 /27 buf. 6 turnovers 16//13 dol gin again 2 td 1td fumble 30 //25.take away those stupied mistakes and we are talking a different tone.we are there we just need to worry about todays game and forget about playoffs i believe thats were the mistakes are comming from we are putting to much stress on our selves we are a new team we have nothin to loose expectations will drive you crazy

Here’s why Ryan is a joke and has no right being an NFL head coach:
“RYAN, WHO GIVES Westhoff and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer almost complete autonomy, says he has no plans to take a more hands-on approach.”

Ryan should return to just being a defensive coordinator…During games, this team is run like there is no game plan on all the sides of the ball..He has to take command but he’ll NEVER do that…Just like he’ll NEVER shut his big fat trap…I predict the players will soon get sick of his hubris and stop playing for him…He’s already embarrassed them enough…What a joke!!!!

Now that that’s off my chest, I agree with Zartan, we still have a chance for the playoffs, and even if we don’t make it, we will be making it for the next couple of years under Ryan and Sanchez, remember the Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning Tandem didn’t start out great and they made the playoffs ever since their first season. I as a jets fan have a right to say the Jets suck, and they did on Sunday on ST, but I as a Jet fan will always have hope for this team, this team can go 0-15 and the next week I will always root for this team and feel like it’s gonna be our week.
