I think the Jets will go 7-1 the rest of the way... We've been in every game, and it's bound come together after the bye.

I think we will win the AFC EAST with an 11-5 record, New England will finish 10-6, Miami will finish 9-7.

It's not uncommon for a team to get on a good run... I think the Jets are about to embark on one. Coach Ryan mentioned something telling, about the year that the Raiders made the playoffs after starting off 4-4. You see every season some team was 2-4 or 2-5 at one point of the season and turned it on... Why can't that be the Jets.

This is the playoff picture as of today...
IND 7-0, DEN 6-1, CIN 5-2, PIT 5-2, NE 5-2, HOU 5-3, BAL 5-3, SD 4-3, NYJ 4-4 & MIA 3-4.

I predict the final standings will be:

1. AFC NORTH
PIT (13-3) w/ wins against DEN, CIN, KC, BAL, OAK, CLE, BAL and MIA, w/ a lose against GB

2. AFC SOUTH
IND (13-3) w/ wins against HOU, NE, BAL, DEN, BUF and JAX w/ loses against HOU, TEN, NYJ

3. AFC EAST
NYJ (11-5) w/ wins against JAX, NE, CAR, BUF, TB, IND and CIN w/ lose against ATL

4. AFC WEST
SD (11-5) w/ wins against DEN, KC, CLE, DAL, CIN, TEN, WAS and loses against NYG and PHI

5. WILDCARD #1
NE (10-6) w/ wins against MIA, CAR, BUF, JAX, HOU w/ loses against IND, NYJ, NO and MIA.

6. WILDCARD # 2
DEN (10-6) w/ wins against WAS, KC, OAK and KC and loses against PIT, SD, NYG, IND and PHI

Outside looking in:

BAL 9-7
MIA 9-7
HOU 7-9
CIN 8-8

Jimbo-

When I was a kid, I remember seeing the Jets at the Polo Grounds and going on the field after the game (you could do that then) to pat Sherman Plunkett on the back. The man was HUGE, but you're right: I haven't heard his name in years. Also saw Don Maynard play at Shea back in the old AFL days, and, yes, he was amazing.

Underappreciated Jets?

First and foremost, Freeman McNeil: the man was an artist, and he's forgotten when great running backs are discussed.
Wesley Walker: same thing -- never mentioned when receivers are discussed.
One more, an ancient name: Sherman Plunkett, great offensive guard on the Super Bowl team.
And, finally, although I think he's in the Hall of Fame, the great, unsurpassed Don Maynard. Never mentioned these days by the sports idiots on radio/TV.

It's more Modern Warfare 1.5 to be honest. But like you implied, it's not a bad thing. The first game was awesome, and this one piles on a little bit more of it.

There are a lot of graphics enhancements. A lot of cool stuff that just catches you by surprise. I'm talking about scaling an icy mountain with two hooks in your hand, breaching doors with slow-motion kills, and a level that starts underwater.

There's a boatload of new weapons.

The multiplayer maps I played were a lot bigger with some really nice spaces and vantage points. I never played the same map twice.

Story mode is as phenomenal as the first MW. Can't say enough about the controversial level with the russian terrorists cleaning out an airport of civilians.

Also, my 360 console has been banned. So unless I decide to buy a new one, or jack my little brother's, my days on Live are numbered.

Okay so I have to admit that I pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2, but haven't been paying attention to the actual game.

How is it going to be different from the first one? Not that the first one really needed a whole lot to be changed, but is it just going to be the same game with different levels? (Obviously new characters and story/campaign for singleplayer, but the multiplayer is what will be the beef of the game.)

Your pick, Erin Andrews, appears on the list at #1.

My pick, Michelle Beadle, makes the list as well.
