it's painful to root for the broncos and equally would be painful to root for the steelers. i hate both teams with fairly equal passion. but not nearly half as much as i hate the fish, thank you patsies for taking care of them yesterday. unfortunately their season isn't over yet; all this talk of 'toughest schedule' is way off.that's last years standings and means nought. they have the same opponents as us with 2 exceptions. so even at 3-5 they're not done, yet. i don't like the patsies much either, but even their 3 SB's still doesn't make me forget that they'll allways be just a little bit pathetic. pathetic patsies.. a soft touch. it's too early to really start thinking about playoff scenarios etc. we just need to play all 3 phases in one 60 minute game and the wins will come. however the jags and panthers are teams we have struggled with and even in their present states, may cause us trouble again. we will play well at foxborough, may win, may lose... one thing is certain, we will beat the bucs, we allways do.

James,

Did you mean MLB? Mo Lewis, Greg Buttle and Lance Mehl all were, IMO, better LB's. I'll agree that, overall, Clifton was the best, but when Marvin was healthy he could really put the hammer down and I always give a shout out to Stan Blinka, who could really hit, too.

Scott is not all talk. 2nd on the team in tackles, and first in "holes-blown-the-F-up". He takes on lead blockers to have Harris make plays. Anyone who thinks Scott does nothing doesn't understand the premise of our defense.

Kyle Clifton was the best LB in Jets history. Bart doesn't even facor in to the conversation. Harris is better than Scott. Scott so far is all talk like Rhodes. Harris however brings the pain to both RB and QB alike.

Jesus:

I generally optimistic. I NEVER had a doubt about Rex's ability to form a solid D. I mean you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure tht out. One just has to look at his D stats the last ten years.

What I stongly have doubtsa bout is his demeanor and abilities as HEAD COACH, NOT DC.

This fear is compounded by his BIG MOUTH, lack of class and the arrogance to anyone on the field to ANYONE not wearing his colors.

Add to that his crude henchman Scott, and the fact that Franchez must do a ton of growing up as a NFL QB, and you'll see where my feelings of SOJ are real !!!

Sorry guy, I just don't swallow all the slanted garbage put out by the media!!!

Here is Hank at the beggining of the year:

hank/naples, on January 19th, 2009 at 8:35 pm Said:

"DRex is a great fit for our D. He was the only one that could’ ve replaced Mangini and the team not take a step backwards."

Now Hank is the head of the Rex Ryan is a Goon Commitee.

Its funny how your rules and standards for being a "wagoneer" fan only applies to other Jet fans but not yourself. I love how this guy sits in his ivory tower telling everyone how to think about all his hypothetical and meaningless BS. Like others have said, you throw accusations about players and coaches on a whim and abandon your point when confronted with facts. You remind me of the guy in high school who got cut from the team, who loved to tell everyone how the team should be run but couldnt do it himself.

Its just sad knowing that the team I love to root for will be forever jinxed as long as self righteous, know-it-all, monday morning QB's like Hank are associated with them

Vilma the best Jets MLB ever? How about Kyle Clifton, Marvin Jones, Stan Blinka, and Al Atkinson? And, IMO, both Scott and Harris are better. The difference between Vilma and these 6 guys? These guys see a hole open up in the middle, fill it and blast the RB. That was never Vilma's finesse game, which I hated. Vilma=good riddance. I was tired of watching Willis McGahee bowl him over like a head pin.
