That, in my mind, is the only reason we're not sitting at 6-2. We keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Sanchez has gotten much better at his decision making, and has been forcing less throws (now if he can just stop taking 15 yard sacks, we'll be golden). Scary to think about, but we're a top 5 defense and I think everyone knows we can improve. Hopefully the bye week gave Rex time to go over tons of film and find some things that they need to work on this week. If we can improve slightly each week, this defense will be a force to be reckoned with. Glad to hear him harp on the “self-inflicted wounds” (penalties, turnovers, etc.).
