The league is laughing because the dissension in the Jets fan base is legendary. The rest of the NFL was laughing at the way Jets fans way before Rex Ryan ever got here.

So when players work out, it’s Mangini who got them here. But when they don’t work out or are a bust it’s the MEDIA LASER-EQUIPPED SHARK INFESTED WATERS WITH THEIR ENDLESS VENDETTA AGAINST SAINT MANGINI!!!!!!!!!!! (!’s go on endlessly)!!!!! ?? We’ve gone over this, you can’t switch your argument for each individual battle.

To say Mangini was the main reason free agents came here is just showing your man-crush on the guy has officially reached “scary” levels.

rex in ny you have the opponent and the media you have to play two teams here i gauranntee you just be yourself and you will win joe torre went to the ws 6 times in 10 years and they still cried winning 4 ws titles this town is full of media loosers who cant get a jod nowhere else they think that it makes them feel better to break someone down but you cant change them me myself i would not talk to them and just concentrate on winning ask woody for an xtrra mill just to get abused by the media and ignorant fans that are so perfect that they do there jobs great without mistakes and they get paid also may be god himself needs to coach the jets

rex to me has done a great job the defense has shown flashes of being dominant but they are letting up in the last play the offense needs to score td not fg agansit a team like jacksonville rex needs to know the first year nobody wins a super bowl and i dont want to go to the playoffs to loose forget the fans and media and evaluate your team let the offense loose and see what they are about hey did you guys see the browns we dont know how bless we are with sanchez this team is good and the loses could only make us better to me its the media and fans the hurt the future of this team forcing changes every 3 years. we will never see a sb that way maybe same old negative fans media

Because if Cowher had his Steelers career here, we would have given him 14 seasons to win a title, right? It’s the fan base that needs to be remade top-to-bottom. As a fan base our expectations are high year in and year out, and they should be. But the first sign of adversity or struggle and people flick the siren and it’s “all hands on deck” to rip the team.

Calling for Tanny to be removed is outrageous. He doesn’t coach the teams, he just puts them together. You said it yourself “this is a prime franchise with talent in place”. That is Tanny’s work. It’s not his fault if his coaches drop the ball.

This is embarrassing. The ship be sinking, if you all dont see it you are blind from drinking green kool aid. The league is laughing at this franchise and coach right now, went from arrogance without achievement to to a buffoon crybaby in nine short games. My what our JEts can do to a perso, perhaps Rex understands the same old jets mentality now?

Rex should seek help from a shrink, the one that needs to talk to Cowher is Woody Johnson, someone needs to come in here and remake this organization from top to bottom.

It should have been done last year, but Woody had a plane to catch.

There are a bunch of veteran coaches looking to reenter the league and this is a prime franchise with talent in place. Woody needs to knock Mr. T out of the way and get one of these guys NOW. Hire him as a consultant with a handshake that he takes over football operation in 2010.

The coach crying out for help is the perfect cover.
