Daily Links: What’s the Plan?
Posted on November 19th, 2009 by E. Weeks
- There is a parallel heading in to this Sunday’s game only perhaps this time the Jets can come away with the win.
- It looks like David Harris will be calling the plans on Sunday with Leonhard sidelined.
- Woody is busting to sell some tickets.
- Thomas Jones is trying to get everyone fired up.
- Ralph is pushing for Mike Shanahan.
- Good to know Sanchez won’t be monologuing next time.

If the Jets win this game, they would need the Pats to lose a third game in a row to the Saints and another game against lesser teams just to get to 10-6, with the Jets needing to win 5 of 6.
Life support is an understatement. What I fear most is if the Jets somehow do pull this win off, and then the Pats lose a third straight to N.O. and we beat Carolina, suddenly the media and Beningo’s of the world will be saying: “we’re in first place by ourselves” and “the Pats are free-falling” etc etc, and then when we finish 8-8 or a surprising 9-7 because of three tough final games, these fans will be as annoyingly disappointed as they have been the past few weeks after the 3-0. It’s like starting the false hype all over again.
“:The Rex Ryan crying story has got alot of run in the New York media, when discussing it today he made light of the situation by bringing out a box of tissues in the beginning of his press conference and a prepared statement to mock Mark Sanchez”…(from the first link)
hahahahah…that is awesome.
You can see the video of the presser on newyorkjets.com. It’s about 20 minutes long. Good stuff, anyone who is killing Rex for this nonsense should go watch that.
Glad to hear two things in this group of articles….
First – This is why Thomas Jones is so valuable and it would be stupid to trade him next season especially with Leon’s abilities questionable next season.
Second – Very happy to hear Kerry Rhodes will “NOT” be getting the headset!
