Last year in New England the Jets did put Revis on Welker. They put Ty Law and constant safety help on Moss. It’ll be interesting to see if they go back to that coverage on sunday

we wont be able to blitz like we do if revis isn’t on moss. We will be blitzing more DBs. Keep the LBs over the middle for those short dump passes to welker and fulk. which means we will need to have revis shut down the big play threat, which is randy moss.

we need the blitz brady all game to keep him unsettled because if he settles down, we will not win the game.

What we did last game was extremely more impressive. 9 points with Brady

Matt Cassel, MATT FREAKIN CASSEL had over 300 yrds on us. and like 27 points.

If you remember the game Moss scored his touchdown, the Jets had a lot of success putting Revis on Welker and almost straight up doubling moss with Law jamming him at the line and a safety behind hm.

That’s what made moss’s (late) td so infuriating- for some reason law dropped about fifteen yards off the line and got killed. Until I see them beat this, I think this was the best look I’ve seen against the Pats offense.

I love Revis…he can control Moss—but what about Welker. I think you would need to double him, Lowery or Sheppard cannot cover Welker alone. To me, if you are going to double someone, it would make more sense to double Moss.

I dont think we have to change what we do, we have to adjust to what the Pats do.

They put Moss in the slot alot and/or move him in motion to get him a free release.

Bottom line is, Revis has PROVEN that he can nuetralize Randy Moss, the proof is in the stat line.

The Jets problem is if they tackle against Welker, Faulk and Watson like they did last week against Jax, the Pats will go up and down the field all day…

Pats will score more than 9 pts this time but Florio needs to get a grip bc Ill be shocked if they score 30

^^ That’s what I thought as well.

If we take away Welker, Brady will have a real hard time orchestrating big/long scoring drives.
Welker keeps drives going on 3rd down or makes easier 3rd downs.
