On the opportunity to play against the Patriots…
It’s a good opportunity to get out and play and get some more reps on the field. Hopefully we get Jim (Leonhard) back, but if not I am going to be ready to play.
On filling in for Jim Leonhard…
It was good to get back in there and get some series with the first team. It was a lot of fun.
On how comfortable he feels with the defense…
I feel I am really comfortable with it. I know all of the checks, the different looks we are going to get, things I need to get communicated to the corners and linebackers. I feel real comfortable with everything.
On how the defense stays cohesive…
That was Rex’s plan when we went up to Cortland. All we had was each other. We learned what each other can do. We learned that we could have confidence in each other. No matter who is in there, we know they are going to get the job done.

Yep, I agree. JO says it well.
He strikes me as having some of the same traits as Leonhard, only not refined at all. A definite work-in-progress who’ll have to step up big-time this week. I’m pulling for him.
